Sequence Blocks & Creating New Sequences

Navigate to Sequences

Choose "Create a new sequence"

This will open up the sequence workspace.

1. Choose a unique name for your sequence

2. Create an API Alias, this will be used to connect SalesRep.ai to your own CRM or Lead Management System.

When creating an API alias make sure there are no spaces.

For example the alias "new sequence" needs to be all be connected so you can create an alias that is "new_sequence" and it will then work.

3. Choose which department you wish to use the sequence with.

Sequence Blocks

Click to add any action block to the sequence.

Once added you will see the action blocks in your sequence that you can customize.

Voicemail Action Block

To customize the Voicemail block, Choose New Template or use a current template:

1. To create a new template choose New Template

2. Create a Name for your new template

3. Upload your recording

4. Save Changes

SMS Action Block

To customize the SMS block, Choose New Template or use a current template:

1. To create a new template choose New Template

2. Create a Name for your new template

3. Add your SMS message in the text field

4. Save Changes

Email Action Block

To customize the Email block, Choose New Template or use a current template:

1. To create a new template choose New Template

2. Create a Name for your new template

3. Add your email text to the text field and add any variables you wish to use

NOTE: Variable can be Lead Name, Phone Numbers, Sales Agents Name, etc.

4. Save Changes

Time Delays

Time delays determine when an action in a sequence will take place.

There are two main starting points for time delays of the action blocks, one is the start time of the department that the sequence is associated with and the other is the time the lead is added to SalesRep.ai.

Any Action Blocks Part Of A Full Day:
The first action will take place at the designated time delay according to your departments opening hours.

Example:
*If your department opens at 9am and your first action for that day has a time delay of 15-30 minutes then the action will occur between 9:15am to 9:30am.

• The action after the first will begin according to it's time delay after the previous action.

  Example:
  If the first action starts at 9:30am then your next action will take place at 9:45am to 10:15am if it has a time delay of 15 to 30 minutes.

Each action will follow this pattern until the end of the departments working hours for that day.

Any Action Blocks Before Day 1:
The time delay will then start at the time the lead was added to SalesRep.ai.

Example:
If a lead was added at 9am and it has a time delay of 15 to 30 minutes, then the first action will start at 9:15am to 9:30am.

Moving Sequence Action Blocks

You can move any of the action or day blocks with drag and drop features.

Day Blocks

Day blocks will determine when the next actions will take place.

Any actions that are placed before a "Day 1" day block means the action sequence will begin immediately when the lead is added to SalesRep.ai.

"Day 1" is considered the next full day.

You can combine day blocks to block off multiple days in a sequence.

Saving Your Sequence

Make sure to save any changes before you leave the sequence workspace.
